I offer a strength-based, gentle yet direct, and tailored approach that offers evidenced based practices with a trauma-informed framework. I use an ‘eclectic’ approach meaning I will match the therapeutic theory to you and what will best address the issues going on for you. I use Postmodern strategies such as Internal Family Systems, EMDR Therapy, Narrative, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Solution-Focused, Art Therapy and also creative interventions catered to your needs and goals.

What does this mean really? Culturally responsive therapy means we may be of different ethnicities, cultures, races, sexual orientations, and backgrounds but there is an awareness of the significance of both of our cultural stories and how they impact who you are as as how it impacts your therapy process.

Together, you will learn new techniques, assign at-home exercises, reading assignments, conduct in-session guided exercises and other activities that make therapy productive.
